UAE Petrol Prices Increase in August 2026: New Fuel Rates Announced
New UAE fuel rates for August 2026: Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus and diesel, with the change from July and what a full tank now costs.
Fuel prices in the UAE have increased for August 2026, with new rates coming into effect from 1 August 2026 across all emirates.
The UAE Fuel Price Committee announced a rise of 20 fils per litre across petrol and diesel categories compared with July prices.
The updated August 2026 fuel rates are:
-
Super 98 Petrol: AED 3.60 per litre
-
Special 95 Petrol: AED 3.49 per litre
-
E-Plus 91 Petrol: AED 3.41 per litre
-
Diesel: AED 3.80 per litre
The increase means motorists will pay around AED 12 more for a typical 60-litre fuel tank compared with last month.
UAE fuel prices are reviewed monthly and are influenced by international oil prices, global supply and demand, and market conditions. Since fuel subsidies were removed in 2015, retail fuel rates in the country are adjusted based on global energy trends.
The latest increase follows a drop in July, when fuel prices declined after several months of higher rates. Drivers across the UAE will now see the updated prices at petrol stations throughout August.
