Ras Al Khaimah Airport is adding a dedicated private jet terminal. What is planned, why now, and how it fits the emirate's push for luxury tourism.

New VVIP Terminal Planned for Ras Al Khaimah Airport

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is developing a new VVIP private aviation terminal in partnership with Falcon Executive Aviation, with operations targeted to begin in early 2027.

The project will include a dedicated 1,500-square-metre terminal, private lounges, an aircraft hangar, parking areas and a helipad. It is designed to offer faster, more private services for business leaders, investors and luxury travellers arriving in the emirate.

The terminal will also support private jet operations and aircraft services, strengthening the airport’s role as a gateway to Ras Al Khaimah’s growing tourism and hospitality sector.

Sustainability is expected to be a key part of the development, with plans for solar energy, electric ground equipment and LEED Gold certification.

Located within easy reach of Al Hamra and Al Marjan Island, the new terminal will support rising demand linked to the emirate’s expanding resort, business and investment landscape.
