What is Flavours of Ras Al Khaimah?

Flavours of Ras Al Khaimah is a summer dining trail spread across five hotels in the emirate.

Rather than taking place at a single venue, each participating restaurant has developed its own set menu. This gives diners five distinct ways to experience Ras Al Khaimah’s growing culinary scene, from a four-course desert dinner to afternoon tea influenced by the emirate’s mountains, sea and heritage.

Ras Al Khaimah Honey appears throughout the series. Depending on the restaurant, it is paired with local chicken, dates, pistachios, Moroccan pastries, cakes or caramelised nuts.

Here is what each restaurant is offering.

Kaheela at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert

Individual sticky toffee pudding cake in caramel sauce, topped nearby with cream and a honeycomb-patterned sugar tuile, served on a green and gold ceramic plate over a woven green placemat with cutlery in the background.

Kaheela’s four-course menu draws on the ingredients and natural character of Ras Al Khaimah.

The experience begins with Moroccan khobz served with a smoked eggplant and Ras Al Khaimah Honey yoghurt dip. Courses include local burrata with a honey and pistachio crumble, cheese manti with truffle and mushroom ragout, and free-range local chicken accompanied by honey-glazed young carrots.

Warm Khalas date pudding with honey sauce and vanilla gelato completes the menu.

  • Price: AED 249 per person

  • Menu: Four courses

  • Time: 6pm–11pm

  • Location: The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert

Dar Zellij at Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island

Round golden pastry topped with chopped nuts and a dried rose petal, served on a white plate with a blue and orange mandala border, set on a woven placemat with cutlery on either side.

Dar Zellij presents a four-course journey through traditional Moroccan cooking, supported by locally sourced ingredients and Ras Al Khaimah Honey.

The menu includes northern Moroccan seafood soup, mini chicken pastilla finished with cinnamon and local honey, and Tangia Marrakchia—slow-cooked lamb prepared in the traditional Marrakech style.

Dessert is Jawhara à la Minute, a layered Moroccan pastry served with a traditional mint tea ritual and honey-infused almond delicacies.

Diners can choose the standard experience or add a selection of paired Moroccan wines.

  • Price: AED 249 per person with Moroccan tea

  • With wine pairing: AED 349 per person

  • Menu: Four courses

  • Time: 6:30pm–11pm

  • Location: Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island

Dome Lounge at Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah

Two individual cakes on gold square boards, each topped with glossy amber candied citrus cubes and a dried orange slice, with a hand using gold tongs to garnish one on a dark stone surface.

Dome Lounge offers the only afternoon tea experience in the series.

Its Ras Al Khaimah Heritage High Tea takes inspiration from the emirate’s sea, desert, mountains and oasis. The savoury selection includes chebab blini with shrimp, regag cannelloni with kanaad tartare, Dibba oyster tempura and a scone made with Jebel Jais goat cheese.

The sweet collection features Sidr honey medovik, camel milk and cinnamon panna cotta, gahwa chocolate dulce, saffron cake and loomi financier.

Traditional Emirati coffee, cold Arabic tea shots and a selection of premium teas and coffees are also included.

  • Price: AED 150 per person

Starters include burrata with pickled eggplant and pumpkin soup with crispy beef bacon. For the main course, guests can select chicken breast with honey-mustard potatoes, potato gnocchi or salmon with coconut and mango piccalilli.

Dessert choices include a Ras Al Khaimah Honey cake with mascarpone and caramelised figs, or a fresh fruit and berry bowl with sorbet.

Hopfenberg brings German comfort food into the Flavours of Ras Al Khaimah line-up.

The menu begins with marinated tomato salad followed by a minty pea and watercress soup with smoked beef. The main course is braised veal roulade served with Narsharab sauce, vanilla carrots, mashed potatoes and desert truffles.

A house-made parfait with caramelised walnuts, berries and Ras Al Khaimah Honey completes the four-course experience.

How the Dining Passport works

Completed passports will be entered into a prize draw. Five winners will each receive a complimentary one-night stay for two, including breakfast, at one of the participating hotels.

Only one completed passport may be submitted per person, and additional terms and conditions apply.
